Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of DankScape ("DankScape", "we", "us"), the browser game at dankscape.com. By creating an account or playing, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use DankScape. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should have a parent or guardian's permission. By using the game you confirm you meet these requirements.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure. Do not share your account or let others use it, and provide accurate information when registering. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

3. Acceptable use

To keep the game fair and enjoyable, you agree not to:

  • Cheat, use bots, scripts, or automation, or exploit bugs instead of reporting them;
  • Use unauthorized third-party software to gain an advantage or interfere with normal play;
  • Harass, threaten, defraud, or abuse other players, or post unlawful, hateful, or harmful content;
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to our systems or other accounts;
  • Buy, sell, or trade accounts, characters, or in-game items for real money outside the official store;
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
  • Use the game for any illegal purpose or in violation of these Terms.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

4. Virtual items and currency

The game includes virtual items and in-game currency (such as gold and equipment). These have no real-world monetary value, cannot be redeemed for cash, and are licensed to you for use within DankScape — you do not own them. We may add, modify, balance, or remove virtual items and game features at any time. Virtual items and progress may be lost if your account is terminated or if the game is discontinued.

5. Purchases and refunds

You may purchase optional items or benefits using real money. Payments are processed by our payment processor (PayPal), and by purchasing you also agree to their terms. Prices are shown before you buy. Except where required by applicable law, purchases of virtual items are final and non-refundable once delivered. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute instead of contacting us may result in suspension of your account. For refund questions, contact us using the details below.

6. Service availability

We work to keep DankScape running, but the game is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, perform maintenance, or experience downtime, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or to protect the game and its players. You may stop using the game at any time and request that your account be closed.

8. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. You use the game at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DankScape and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or virtual items, arising from your use of the game. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, if any.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the game. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any disputes will be handled in the courts located there, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
